BOARD MEMBER AND COFOUNDER

Richard Cherchio is the Councilman of Ward 4 in North Las Vegas. As Co-Founder he has been instrumental in advising and guiding Artful Lives and has become an artist himself through this process.

BOARD MEMBER AND CURATOR

Jerry is past president of the NV Arts Council, Commissioner of the City of Las Vegas Arts Commission and the Director of Galleries for UNLV.

Miles Jackson, is an incoming freshman at UNLV where he plans on studying Hospitality. He combines his passion for community service and his love of all things fun to coordinate class events. He assists with the website, managing marketing initiatives, and coordinating program logistics.

PHOTOGRAPHY INSTRUCTOR

Kevin Calkins is Artful Lives’ photography instructor. Kevin holds a BA in Art Education from Bemidji State University. His daytime job is teaching various art forms at Bishop Gorman High School. In art, his first passion is making 3D sculptures, forms, and functional objects- principally in ceramics.

WEB DEVELOPER

Lily is a senior at Cal Poly Humboldt where she is pursuing a degree in Computer Science. She is passionate about leveraging technology to support and enhance the arts community, and is dedicated to creating engaging, user-friendly digital experiences. Lily deeply appreciates Artful Lives' mission and is committed to furthering its goals through innovative web solutions.
